On the 40th Anniversary of the Escape of Lady Docs and Friends from Vietnam

On the 40th anniversary of their escape from Vietnam, several of our Lady Docs and their friends tell their stories of bravery, hardship and thankfulness.  In conjunction with Rory Kennedy's documentary, Last Days in Vietnam, aired on PBS on April 28th, these stories help us gain an appreciation for how much the refugees endured.  We at Lady Docs are grateful that our friends were rescued at the last moment and didn't just survive, but have made a point of improving the world for all of us.

Check out these links about:

Anne Pham, currently a senior State Department adviser in the Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance Resources, is the epitome of giving back in gratitude to her rescuers.

Enjoy these stories and be proud of the efforts of our servicemen in saving as many refugees as they could in those final days.
